What is Incandescent Technology?
Incandescent bulbs have a tungsten filament (a tiny coiled wire) encased in a glass bulb or capsule. Inside the glass casing is an inert gas mixture. When the Tungsten coil is heated to extremely high temperatures it glows and emits an orangey-yellow, warm colored light. The process of lighting an incandescent bulb also creates an exurbanite amount of heat which is less than efficient.
